Great experience with Cajun Cypress Kennels. This was my second Goldendoodle after 14.5 years, so it was important to me to find the right breeder. Sandy kept me informed from the beginning of the process until the day I picked up Harry. She sent weekly photos, and kept me updated on milestones, eating habits, observations about temperament, as well as Harry's likes and dislikes. She was always super friendly and responsive in answering any questions that I had. When I picked up Harry, I was sent home with all the paperwork/documents for future veterinary appointments, a bag of food, and a blanket that he had been sleeping with. When someone mentions a “Breeder” it is almost always synonymous with puppy mill. What you will get with Cajun Cypress Kennels and Sandy Breaux is so far removed from that, to say it is the opposite doesn’t even come close to doing it justice. I have known Sandy for a number of years. Going all the way back to when she fell in love with her first boxer puppy, Bailey (over 20 years ago). Boxers have always been my first love, closely followed by Golden Retrievers. After contacting her to look at a litter of boxers she had, I discovered we had much in common. Walking in, I was ecstatic to see that there was no outdoor kennel where the dogs were kept, nobody in runs, her dogs were part of her family. I wound up, over the years, getting not one but two boxers from her and kept in touch. Her puppies have always been well socialized and she keeps incredibly detailed health records for them. Puppy kits and pictures (done weekly!) are sent home with the new owners for each and every puppy.

I tell you all of this to show you that Sandy has always been dedicated to her dogs and has always bred for love of the breed. Never breeding back to back, and only having a few litters from her females before they are “retired” and able to enjoy being part of this amazing family.

Over the years her Boxers passed on and Cajun Cypress Kennels was quiet. Until she found Gracie and Jack. Meeting those two really changed my view of what I thought a Poodle and Goldendoodle were like. So much so that when she got Dakota and Montana (Gracie had an incredibly rough pregnancy/birth and Sandy quickly decided that would be her only litter and now she gets to enjoy rides with her dad and being the matriarch of the crew), I decided that I was going to get a Goldendoodle. My first was Memphis (he is actually Dakota’s brother!) but when Jack and Montana had their first litter I quickly fell in love with one of the puppies, Savannah. She is the same dark red color of her dad but definitely has her mom’s personality and still loves to snuggle! Like with the boxers, the doodles are incredibly well socialized and healthy. I've wanted a dog my entire life and at the age of 26 that dream became reality. Not only was the process made easy it has been very rewarding. They made sure my dog had everything. They provided me with all of his informatin including his parents' information also. They even sent him to his new home (me) with a balnket with his mother's scent, food for easy transitioning, and a toy of your choosing. They made sure to answer any questions I have had being that I'm a first time dog owner. I felt very prepared taking my dog home after communicating with them. The communication from start t finish was excellent. They responded in a timely mannter and sent pictures before pick up. My dog is now 8 months and is thriving, very smart, fully potty trained. The best! Sandy and her husband are connscientious, caring and nuturing breeders who love their puppies. They start working with them pretty quickly with things like potty training and rubbing their paws to them used to nail trimming. Their dogs are DNA tested and they include a health guarantee. We purchased our pup from Ms Sandy at Cajun Cypress Kennels. She takes great care of the pups and makes sure they are all healthy and ready to go once they meet their forever parents. Once you pick your pup you will receive updates on them. She even FaceTimed us for me to pick the one we wanted to reserve. We chose our Willow who is a 32 pound feisty thing, extremely smart,and she absolutely loves to swim! They truly are great dogs and the best dogs for snuggles!! Cajun Cypress Kennels (Sandy) blessed me with the most special Golden Doodle. His name is Roux due to the color of his coat. Approximately 1 year ago Roux came into our life small and cuddly. Today he is healthy and thriving at 61 lbs. All of his visits to the vet were positive. He has a wonderful temperament and eyes that melt your heart.

We had bee looking for a golden doodle for a few months when we found Sandy's page. We sent her a message and she was able to help us with a lot of our concerns about buying a puppy from a kennel since we had never done this before. She made everything extremely easy and helped us be more relaxed in the process. While we were in the process of waiting to get time off work to go pick up Luna she sent us videos and pictures of her. When we got to pick her up they even gave us a toy she had and a blanket to help with her anxiety as well. This was an amazing process overall and so much fun now with our puppy. We had a fantastic experience with our dog breeder and can't recommend them enough! From the very beginning, they were incredibly organized, attentive, and knowledgeable - not just about goldendoodles in general, but about each individual puppy in the litter.
